It's never too early to learn how to become a lifeguard!

This new program trains the next generation of lifeguards. Mini Guards is a 10-week program that teaches youth ages 9-11 basic water safety skills and lifeguarding skills including First Aid and CPR. Participants will learn about the importance of physical fitness, and they will gain physical endurance. Field trips may be offered to expand the Mini Guards’ experience of lifeguarding in different settings, including beach visits.

Begins Tuesday, June 26 - Thursday, August 16, 2012
Tuesday and Thursday, 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.

Requirements: at least an Advanced Polliwog or Level-2 swimmer.
