City to Host Workshop on Environmental Issues

The City of Carson will be hosting a workshop to educate the community on various environmental issues that currently affect Carson. The workshop is scheduled for Thursday, 6-8 p.m. at the Congresswoman Juanita Millender-McDonald Community Center, located at 801 E. Carson Street in Carson. The workshop is open to the public and admission is free. A panel discussion featuring speakers from various public agencies is scheduled for the first hour, followed by a question and answer session from 7 to 8 p.m. Through the workshop, the City aims to share information and educate the community on various environmental issues in the city, and also provide a link between the public and local environmental agencies.
