The Carson One-Stop Career Center offers services to Carson businesses through a collaborative partnership.

The Carson/Lomita/Torrance Private Industry Council, the California Employment Development Department and the Harbor Community College are all located in the Carson One-Stop Career Center.

Together, they prepare you, the employers, for the challenging demands of today’s business world.

Just show us how you can make a substantial increase in the recyclable materials employed in your manufacturing process and you could be eligible for a low interest loan. Upgrade your equipment, purchase or lease buildings, hire more people, improve your cash flow. This flexible loan program can help you build your business while reducing solid waste in our landfills.

Eligible businesses may borrow up to 50% of a projects cost, with the maximum funding of $1,000,000 dollars. RMDZ loans are currently se at 5.6% (subject to change) with terms up to 10 years.

The Long Beach Area CDC is a private, non-profit corporation, licensed and certified by the U.S. Small Business Administration to provide low-cost, long-term SBA loans to assist eligible small businesses in the Long Beach area, including Carson.

The CDC provides financing for:

• Land & building acquisition
• New construction
• Renovation, modernization & restoration
• Acquisition of machinery and equipment

CDC’s financing terms include:

• Amounts of up to 90% of the total project cost
• Projects in excess of $125,000 up to several million dollars
